Microsoft is known for launching blockbuster-exclusive games on its Xbox platform. Now, it seems that the company is preparing to launch two new games in the near future - Fable FRAWs and Avowed. Both of these titles will follow in the footsteps of Starfield, which was announced at E3 2018.
Fable FRAWs is set within the world of Albion, which is the same universe as the classic Fable franchise. The game will be an open-world action RPG and is being developed by Playground Games, the studio behind the Forza Horizon series. So far, only a few details have been revealed about the game, but it is expected to be an ambitious and expansive adventure.
Avowed is an all-new first-person RPG from Obsidian Entertainment. It is being developed for the Xbox platform and is set within the world of Eora, which is the same universe as Pillars of Eternity. The game will feature a mix of magic and technology, and players will be able to explore a large, open world.
Both Fable FRAWs and Avowed are expected to be released in 2024. However, they may be pushed back if development takes longer than expected or if there are any unexpected delays. Microsoft has yet to announce a release date for either title, but they are both highly anticipated by fans.
