Lunar Series Returns: Exciting Remastered Collection Announced for Spring Release

The excitement grew among fans of role-playing games as a thrilling announcement was made during a recent Sony presentation. The beloved Lunar series, which gained popularity with its debut on Sega CD in the early 1990s, is making a comeback. It will be offered as a collection featuring updated editions of both Lunar: Silver Star Narrative Finished and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Concluded. These revamped versions will boast enhanced graphics, improved audio, and gameplay tweaks that elevate the original experiences.

The remastered collection introduces a variety of enticing upgrades, such as support for widescreen displays, enhanced pixel art, high-definition animated cutscenes, and brand new English voice performances. Gamers will have the choice to experience the original graphics or opt for the remastered visuals for a contemporary feel. Additionally, a new toggle option will allow players to accelerate battles, providing greater control over the rhythm of their journey. Improved strategy settings will also enhance combat convenience. In an unprecedented moment in the legacy of the franchise, Lunar will be offered in both German and French, alongside English and Japanese.

The Lunar Remastered Collection is set to launch for both PlayStation 4 and 5 in the springtime of the coming year, and a trailer is open for those curious to see a view of what’s to come.
