October PlayStation Plus Lineup Features Wrestling, Horror, and Indie Surprises

In the latest State of Play exhibition, Sony revealed the array of monthly games set for October 2024 on PlayStation Plus. These titles will be accessible starting October 1 and will remain available until November 4, 2024. Leading the new offerings is WWE 2K24 for both PS4 and PS5. The game garnered an 8 out of 10 rating in evaluations, highlighting its improvements over previous versions. It features subtle enhancements to established systems and modes, enhancing the overall gameplay experience without taking significant risks.

The lineup continues with last year's reimagining of Dead Space for PS5, which garnered a 9/10 rating. This remake is celebrated as a remarkable revival, affirming itself as the ultimate way to engage with one of the most esteemed survival horror games that never quite belonged to a certain developer.

Doki Doki Literature Club also makes an appearance for both PS4 and PS5 users. This intriguing title, which appears charming at first glance, has a dark narrative twist. Originally launched on PC in 2017, it has quickly gained popularity and became a favorite indie title, achieving impressive sales on the Switch after its 2021 release with additional content.

In addition, the presentation revealed that the beloved classics Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain and Dino Crisis will soon be accessible for PS Plus Premium subscribers, adding to the growing classics catalog. Lastly, in honor of The Last of Us Day taking place on September 26, PlayStation and Naughty Dog have announced the inclusion of The Last of Us Part 1 in the PS Plus game catalog for Premium and Extra members.

As September draws to a close, players have just a few days left to claim this month’s games, which include Harry Potter Quidditch Champions, MLB The Show 24, and Little Nightmares 2. For a complete recap of today’s announcements, you can view the full details from the State of Play presentation.
